Exploring Space 1964

This section is taken from a wonderful book from the UK aimed at smart young boys, called Exploring Space, a Ladybird Achievment Book.

Even though it's written for children, all be it smart ones, it does have some splendid insights into what people thought about space and, in particular, flying to the Moon. Some of its future predictions aren't that far off the mark, considering it was written at the dawn of space travel.
