Scientist-Astronaut Harrison H. Schmitt is photographed working beside a huge boulder as Station 6 during the third Apollo XVII extravehicular activity at the Taurus-Littrow landing site.
This view of the rising Earth greeted the Apollo VIII astronauts as they came from behind the moon after the Lunar orbit insertion burn.
