Fra Mauro
A lunar crater, 95 kilometres 60 miles in diameter, close to the Apollo 14 landing site. It gives its name to the geological formation sampled by the Apollo 14 astronauts, this being part of the ejecta or debris created by the formation of the Imbrium Basin. See also: Apollo programme.
