Astronomers Keep Southampton Skies Dark |

Local astronomers have successfully helped to block the Laser Gateway Plan, a £250,000 plan to fire four laser’s from the clock tower in Southampton’s city centre. While the Laser Gateway Plan was intended to be a talking point for Southampton, astronomers and other groups, including the Campaign for Dark Skies and New Forest Friends of the Earth were concerned about light pollution.
