A bursting radio source, called J1745-3009 for its coordinates, has been discovered in the direction of the Milky Way's center by Scott D. Hyman and his team at Sweet Briar College in New Mexico. The object seems to burst every 77 minutes for 10 minutes at a time, with equal intensity.
