Enceladus May Have Live Ice Volcanoes

Saturn’s moon Enceladus is probably alive with ice volcanoes, based on information received from NASA’s Cassini spacecraft. Cassini flew by Enceladus on July 14, 2005 and found a cloud of water vapor over its south pole, as well as fissures on the surface where water ice seems to be evaporating. Volcanic heat is probably the cause of this activity.
