SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - A light earthquake of 4.5 magnitude shook part of Northern California on Friday morning about 74 miles northwest of the state capital, Sacramento, the U.S. Geological Survey said. There were no reports of injuries or damage from the "mild event" in the surrounding area, James Bauman, chief deputy for the Lake County Sheriff's department, told Reuters. The tremor hit at 10 a.m. (1 p.m. EDT/1700 GMT) and was centered near the Lake County hamlet of Cobb at a depth of 2.6 miles below the surface, according to the USGS. Source: Reuters UK
