On Wednesday, August 3, Astronaut Steve Robinson removed two pieces of cloth that had been discovered protruding about an inch between insulation tiles near Discoverys nose when it reached the international space station. This was the first spacewalk to a shuttles underside, and the first emergency repair ever made in space.
