On 23 November, Venus Express, the European Space Agencys probe, activated three of its instruments to photograph the Earth-Moon system.
The Earth-Moon system will be photographed at visible, ultraviolet and infrared wavelengths. Venus Express is now 3.5 million kilometres from Earth and will reach Venus in April.
