Virgin Galactic Space Ship Enterprise Unveiled

Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo craft, named the VSS Enterprise, was unveiled at a ceremony in the Mojave Desert.

Richard Branson, Virgin Galactic's owner, Bill Richardson, the governor of New Mexico and Arnold Schwarzenegger, the governor of California were present.

So far, around 300 people have reserved seats on spaceship, which has room for six passengers.

The ship will take space tourists high enough above the Earth's surface to see the curve of the Earth. Passengers will experience weightlessness for several minutes.

Spandau Ballet will be performing on the VSS Enterprise's first trip into space.
